History / Description: The round trough fountain has three sinks in the middle and was erected in 1940 to commemorate the 300th anniversary membership of Kleinhueningen to Basel. The relief image shows farmers and fishermen, so the former inhabitants of the village Kleinhueningen. 

Special: The well is only accessible during the day. If the gate is closed, so you can see him very well from the schoolyard (51 village road).

History / Description: The three-trough fountain has three ornate, abutting pool. The column of the fountain is decorated with various patterns and is surmounted by a bud. History: The fountain column, where there is a red and blue painted barrel with children, stands between the two stage water trough. On the pillar is the former Mayor of Basel and statesman Johann Rudolf Wettstein (1594 - 1666) who, with his skill brought about the Peace of Westphalia. He was a hunter and therefore his loyal dog sitting beside him. At the fountain is the inscription: "In memory of Mayor Johann Rudolf Wettstein 1594 - 1666 and to commemorate the union of small Basel and large Basel 1392".
Special: The fountain was supposed to be created in 1892, on the occasion of 500 years of association between large and small Basel, but instead of the required 90,000 CHF - CHF 8172 were all - together... It was not until the year 1954 that the money had come together with compounded interest.

History / Description: The bronze sculpture shows a girl with outstretched arm. Left and right is on the edge of the well each one wasserspeiendes fish. In the middle of the basin, it also has a small "fountain". The watering trough is more square and topped with stone slabs.

History / Description: The round well is marked by a stone sculpture. It provides the Loreley (a Rheinnixe the German legend) portraying the head she supports with both hands and her fish tail is erect. Two wells in the self-mounted fish spit water over them.
Special: The fountain is on the floor of the parish Binningen, which belongs to the canton of Basel-Country. This area was once part of a large estate, acquired by the Canton Basel-Stadt in 1896 by the Canton Basel-Country. In 1897 there was opened to the public.

History: In Basel there are some wells, of which no one knows who she has ever made ​​or designed. To forestall a "forgetting" the name of the creator, has been named this well after his creator. On the edge of the well three water spouts are attached. In the middle is a bronze bowl, in which several non-visible water spouts are mounted on an iron pedestal stands. At this there have been numerous animal and human figures, molded from their mouths water. On the pedestal are three male figures from different periods of life. The young man looks into the vastness of the world on the Rhine, who united, plays the flute and a bit dreamy in the world is watching, is classified to moderate age-limit of puberty. Special: The Fountain with 80 cm high rim holds 50,000 liters of water. The bronze top bowl has a diameter of four meters and is the largest ever in Switzerland in one piece molded shell. History / Description: A bronze statue shows a boy with a long nose, also flows from the water and the other a water-spouting head goose. Both are characters from a fairy tale by Wilhelm Hauff: A boy laughs at the market from a woman because of her big nose. He is therefore by this woman, a herb fairy, transformed and taken to her castle. After a few years he comes - as Dwarf Nose - back home, but nobody can recognize him. He returns to the castle. There he can rescue a princess who has been transformed into a goose, in the frying pan. The goose helps him, therefore, to find a certain little herb, so it can be converted back into "normal state". The goose head should now recall the rescue of the dwarf.


Special: The opposite St. John's Gate was part of the fortifications of 1400.

History / Description: The birdbath fountain is twofold: on one hand into the well with trough and pillar, which is crowned with a crow and the other in a bowl with a gargoyle in the middle. It gives the impression that the crow, the little one looks longingly into the world wants, the next moment flying over the birdbath. 
Special: In the bushes next to the bowl-shaped fountain is home to a large bird colony that appreciates "their" own bird bath very much. At the well throughout the year is extremely busy.
