History / Description: The reliefs on the fountain show a tree with a pair of shoes among them, a girl with pigtails, which is feeding the geese, two children sitting on a horse and a man with a full sack. On the edge of the fountain is a gargoyle.

Special: The stop "Gellertstrasse" the bus line 41 is close to the fountain. If the operation of this line is set, a longer walk from the bus stop "Karl Barth-Platz" station, take tram 14 is necessary.

History / Description: In the middle of the main trough and on each side, a side trough. From a traffic engineering reasons, the wall on the left side was broken off and a support column, but fits well into the picture, replaced. The well column, from which rises a gargoyle is at the top decorated with various patterns.
Special: The picture on the wall shows scenes from different parts of life.

History / description: The trough has the shape of a semicircle. Protrude from the wall two gargoyles above the trough and is a beautiful mural installed. The work called "Sunrise" comes from Otto Abbot and shows a crowing rooster, which is surrounded by beautiful countryside. 
Special: Nearby is the St. Peter's Square, where take place regularly on Saturdays, a large flea market. (Except during the Autumn Fair)

History / Description: The fountain, whose water spouts out of the wall plate stands, leans in a little house. The niche was filled by Rudolf Müller with a burned Majolikafüllung. It shows a boy riding a fish.

History / Description: This is the largest niche fountain of Basel. The two columns must support the overlying building. Thanks to the symmetrical arrangement of the columns they fall while looking at the fountain not as disruptive. The mural by the painter Numa Donzé shows excerpts from the life of John the Baptist.
Special: The Spalenberg is known for its numerous small shops.
