History / Description: In addition to this small stone fountain, it even has a seat. From the gargoyle in the middle of the water trickles very limited. Opposite is the pumping station "Lange Erlen", from where the finished drinking water is pumped into the pipeline network (wells leaders Reference 90 ).

Special: Nearby is a children's playground. It is a long walk from the bus stop to the fountain needed.

History / Description: The fountain has a round pool and a gargoyle. He stands in front of the pumping station "Lange Erlen", from where the finished drinking water is pumped into the pipeline network. The water is in pipes having a diameter of 40 - 100 cm, as a ring line pumped have 100 cm through the city. Connected to this are, among others, the two reservoirs on the Bruderholzstrasse (see fountain leader references 94 / 135 ).
Special: The well is located on a small children's playground. It is a long walk from the bus stop to the fountain needed.

History / Description: The fountain, which was created from the materials of metal and concrete, has the form of a column. The water tube is green and its top gilded.

Special: The Railway Station was built in 1904. The elongated and symmetrical building was not outwardly unchanged to this day, while the interior has numerous alterations have been executed. The fountain can only be visited during the opening times of the station SBB. Opening times of the station: daily 04:00 - 00:40 clock.

History / Description During the economic crisis of the thirties the work centimes has been introduced. From each francs reward a black horse was diverted to the economy - mainly structural objects - moving again. Within ten years, more than 40 million francs came together. In the 1950s, old apartments were renovated with the leftover capital of the labor Cent Foundation. The bronze figure (fish-man) is at the center of the bronze shell and shows in the open right hand, a piece of money (just the labor centimes). Today's business school was built in 1943 with the help of the labor Cent Foundation. The well was therefore created as a reminder of this measure before this school.

History / Description: The plastic stone shows a dolphin with hochgeworfenem tail. The gargoyle protruding from the middle of the mouth. The water trough is decorated with round and uniform patterns. 

Special: It is yet another dolphin fountain in Basel (wells leaders Reference 22 ) but it has a different shape.

History / Description: The Altrheinweg fountain in the shape of a vase. The gargoyles projecting from a column that is lovingly finished up.

Special: The Rhine flows through here behind the big warehouses. One walks 600 meters to the inner city, so you can reach the beautiful and seemingly endless Rhine promenade.

History / Description: The round trough fountain has three sinks in the middle and was erected in 1940 to commemorate the 300th anniversary membership of Kleinhueningen to Basel. The relief image shows farmers and fishermen, so the former inhabitants of the village Kleinhueningen. 

Special: The well is only accessible during the day. If the gate is closed, so you can see him very well from the schoolyard (51 village road).

Museum Tinguely

History / Description: The sculpture stands in the middle of the circular fountain basin, which is illuminated at night. The museum "Jean Tinguely" was opened in 1996 in Solitude Park. In Botta building is found in a permanent exhibition of works by the artist. It is based on his work, follow the development of the art of Jean Tinguely in different life cycles. The fountain is located in the front yard of the museum and can be visited day and night. 

Special: The nearby Rhine invites you for a walk. 

Bäumlihofstrasse

History / Description: On the square column is a cast bronze raven. The fountain is located in the Hirzbrunnen-district, which is characterized by one-and two-story townhouses. Beginning of the 1930s, the neighborhood received its present name. It is not clear why the district at that time was given this name. Today we hear two different versions: "Hirz" is an old word for deer and maybe it was here used to be a source where deer drank or region was in possession of the inn "Zum Hirzen".
Special: The Hirzbrunnen-quarters adjacent to the city municipality of Riehen Basel and Germany.
