History / Description:
The fountain made of stone formerly stood in the "Mühllschen Good" at the Riehenstrasse in Basel and is so named. The round fountain column is of two volutes (spiral curl) topped with an acorn as an attachment. The water trough is rectangular and the edges are carefully rounded.
Special:
Opposite is the Museum "Jean Tinguely". In Botta building is found in a permanent exhibition of works by the artist. It is based on his work, follow the development of the art of Jean Tinguely in different life cycles.
