History / Description: The sculpture, cast in bronze, is a seagull that landed on the Rhine Arriving on this ball. The open beak symbolizes a hungry gulls cry. The trough is rectangular and from the fountain column extends a water spout. Due to vandalism the gull had in 2000 to be replaced.
Special: The next "Birskopf" invites you to linger. In summer, many people here approve a bath in the river.
